How Coaching Fits Your Laser Lipo Program

Your coach, your check-ins, your numbers

Laser lipo at Aspire is never a standalone block of sessions. At your free consultation, Jayde da Costa, Certified Body Contouring Specialist, reviews the areas you want changed while Olivia Mague, BS, takes your Styku 3D scan, so the course starts from measured circumference and body fat. Your coach then builds the plan: which area first, how many sessions, and the nutrition and movement targets that make released fat burn instead of return. The same structure runs through our weight loss coaching packages.

Check-ins are scheduled, not optional. You rescan on the Styku at set points through the course and review the numbers with your coach in person or by video, so progress is a measurement, not a feeling about your jeans. If circumference stalls, your coach checks your activity log, nutrition targets and session spacing before adding sessions. Medical questions route to Impact Health Network licensed physicians through a telehealth visit we arrange. See how it works at Aspire Trim.

What Is Laser Lipo?

Low-level laser lipolysis explained

Laser lipo, properly called low-level laser lipolysis, uses non-thermal light to reduce localized fat without incision, suction or freezing. It is not liposuction. The invisa-RED platform pairs a 680 nm red and a 980 nm infrared wavelength and is FDA-cleared under 510(k) K192275 as a fat reducing low level laser.

The light opens transient pores in fat cell membranes so stored triglycerides move out, clear through the lymphatic system and get burned as fuel. The cell survives, which is why sessions end on a vibration plate and a calorie surplus refills what you released. Courses run 8 to 12 sessions, measured on a Styku 3D scan.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Laser Lipo?

Laser lipo suits people close to their target weight who want to change the shape of a specific area. Your health survey is reviewed before your first session and Impact Health Network licensed physicians flag anything that rules you out.

01

Ideal Candidates for Laser Lipo

  • Within 15 to 20 pounds of goal weight
  • Finished weight loss, refining shape
  • Able to attend two or three sessions a week
  • Willing to stay active on session days
  • Wanting fat reduction without downtime
02

Who Should Wait or Avoid Laser Lipo

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active cancer, or care for a malignancy
  • Photosensitizing medication or disorder
  • A pacemaker, or metal in the area
  • Broken skin, infection or recent surgery
03

What We Assess Before Your First Session

  • How close you are to target weight
  • The area you want changed, measured first
  • Your health survey, reviewed by Impact Health Network licensed physicians
  • Whether a course or a single session fits
  • That you can commit to the vibration finish

If you have substantially more weight to lose, we will say so and recommend starting with the coach-led weight loss program instead. If your goal is the deeper fat behind a firmer stomach, read about belly and visceral fat first. Contouring works best as finishing work, not as a substitute.

How a Laser Lipo Session Works

What happens on the day

1.

Baseline Scan

Olivia takes a Styku 3D scan and circumference measurements before session one.
2.

Positioning

You lie fully clothed as the invisa-RED applicators are positioned over the area.
3.

Laser Session

25 to 40 minutes of infrared and red light, comfortable and warm throughout.
4.

Vibration Plate

You finish with 10 minutes of vibration plate work to move released fat content.
5.

Interval Rescan

We rescan at set intervals so the result is measured rather than described.

Laser Lipo Side Effects and Safety

Low-level laser lipolysis has one of the mildest side effect profiles in aesthetics. The genuine safety work is in candidacy rather than aftercare.

Common, Expected Side Effects

Because the energy is non-thermal at the skin surface, there is no burning, blistering or bruising in normal use. Clients occasionally report mild transient redness or a warm sensation during the session.

Some notice brief lightheadedness on standing, increased thirst afterwards as the lymphatic system clears released content, or a temporary change in bowel habit as fat is metabolized. None of this restricts activity, and nobody needs time off.

Who Should Not Have Laser Lipo

Light-based sessions are inappropriate during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in active cancer or ongoing cancer care, and where photosensitizing medication or a photosensitivity disorder is present.

They are also inappropriate over an implanted electronic device such as a pacemaker, or over broken skin, active infection or a recent surgical site. A systematic review of oncologic safety in aesthetic low-level light therapy found no increased malignancy risk, and we still screen for it. If you are unsure about a medication or condition, ask the Impact Health Network licensed physician who reviews your survey. Device specifications are published by the manufacturer, invisa-RED.

The Honest Limit on What It Does

This reduces localized fat, it is not a weight loss program, and any clinic promising a dress size in three sessions is overselling.

If skin tightening for loose skin is what you actually need, we will redirect you rather than start a course that cannot deliver it. Every option is listed under our Body programs in Charlotte, NC.

Your laser lipo plan is shaped by the area or areas you want changed, the number of sessions your Styku scan and goals call for (most clients choose the 12-session package), and whether you join as a Silver, Gold or Platinum member, since memberships include contouring sessions alongside coaching. Exact investment is discussed at your free consultation after your body composition scan.

Laser Lipo Questions, Answered

Before you book a course

How much does laser lipo cost in Charlotte, NC?

Exact investment is discussed at your free consultation after your body composition scan. It depends on the area, how many areas and the course length, and most clients choose the 12-session package. Silver, Gold and Platinum memberships include contouring sessions, and Cherry payment plans, our primary financing option, plus PatientFi and Klarna are available through our financing options.

How many sessions will I need?

Most courses run eight to twelve sessions at two or three per week, and the 12-session package is the most common choice. The number depends on the area, your starting body fat and how consistent you are with the activity protocol. We set the course length at consultation after a Styku scan rather than selling a fixed block that may not fit you.

Does laser lipo actually work?

For localized fat, yes, with realistic expectations. Multiple randomized sham-controlled trials of low-level laser therapy have reported significant circumference reduction at the waist, hips, thighs and upper arms. It is not liposuction, it is not a weight loss program, and it will not work against an unchanged diet. Individual results vary.

Is laser lipo painful?

No. You feel gentle warmth from the infrared wavelength and nothing more, and many clients find the sessions relaxing enough to doze. There is no needle, no cooling discomfort, no suction and no bruising. You stay clothed, and you can drive yourself home and go straight to the gym afterwards.

How is laser lipo different from CoolSculpting?

Cryolipolysis freezes fat cells to destroy them, and the body clears the debris over weeks. Laser lipolysis makes fat cells release their contents without destroying the cell, and that released fat has to be burned. Different mechanism, different protocol: ours requires activity afterwards, which is why sessions finish on a vibration plate.

Will the fat come back?

The volume you released and burned is gone. If you later eat in a calorie surplus, remaining fat cells throughout your body will fill again, including the areas we worked on, because the cells were never destroyed. That is precisely why we run courses inside a coached program with body composition tracking rather than selling them standalone.

Do I have to exercise?

You have to move, which is not the same thing. Released triglycerides must be metabolized or they return to storage, so every session finishes with vibration plate work and we ask for activity on session days. A walk counts. Clients who skip this part get noticeably weaker results, and your coach will tell you so at the next check-in.

Can I do more than one area?

Yes, though working one area properly usually beats spreading a course across three. Session time increases with each additional area, and so does the investment. We will look at your Styku scan together and recommend the sequence that gives you the most visible change for the plan you choose.

How soon will I see a difference?

Measurable circumference change typically appears by session four to six, and the full result at the end of the course. Because we take a Styku 3D scan at baseline, you are comparing real numbers rather than trying to remember how your jeans felt in March. You can see abdomen and arm results in our before and after gallery; individual results may vary.

Can I combine laser lipo with the Weight Loss Program?

Yes, and it is our most common combination, though sequencing matters. Most clients bring overall weight down first with the provider-guided weight loss program, then use contouring for the areas that stayed behind. We plan both at the same consultation so you are not starting a course too early.

Is laser lipo safe?

In normal use the side effect profile is very mild: transient redness, warmth during the session and increased thirst afterwards. A systematic review of oncologic safety in aesthetic low-level light therapy found no evidence of increased malignancy risk. The real safety work is candidacy screening, which Impact Health Network licensed physicians complete before your first session.

Who should not have laser lipo?

Pregnancy and breastfeeding, active cancer or ongoing cancer care, photosensitizing medication, an implanted electronic device such as a pacemaker, and broken skin or active infection in the area are the main reasons to wait or avoid it. Impact Health Network licensed physicians review your health survey beforehand, and we would rather decline a session than work around a real contraindication.
